Art Deco Celluloid Greyhound Necklace on Leather Cord

Art Deco Celluloid Grehound Necklace. I created this necklace for my Uniqlets line of one of a kind jewelry made with vintage parts. The graceful celluloid greyhound was a Crackerjacks prize. I am always amazed by the details in dime store items of the period. His ribs are show and his eye is painted black. I have mounted the dog on an Art Deco black celluloid button whose geometric design is created through matte and shiny areas. I then mounted them both on another black celluloid button whose depth emphasizes the greyhound. The pendant is just under 2” in diameter. It hangs from a 16” leather cord with a 1.5” chain extender and a lobster clasp closure. Gift boxed and shipped free via USPS First Class Mail.
