    Up
    for auction is a vintage sterling silver holy eucharist case. For holding communion wafers. Lovely design with a raised IHS monogram and wreath. Vermeil or possibly rolled gold plate. Signed with a shield hallmark, and marked as STERLING.
    As is, for repair. Clasp not working properly, and has solder repair. Doesn't fully latch and has a gap. Good hinge though. Vermeil or RGP mostly worn from outside, likely improperly cleaned.
    Measures about 2 5/8" x 1 7/8" x 1/2" including the hoop.
    Total weight is 33.8 grams.
