BILLIE HOLIDAY Signed ELLA FITZGERALD Encyclopedia of Jazz Book 1955 Autograph

Description

For sale is a very interesting book. It appears to have been owned by a jazz fan from the Bay Area named Karen. She must have taken it to several shows because inside are several notable signatures including Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald.
Ms Holiday signed on a flyer from the famous Black Hawk nightclub which featured shows for Dave Brubeck. This was pasted inside the book. Ms Fitzgerald signed on the book itself as did Cal Tjader who has two signatures inside.
There are several other signatures including Jerry Murphy, Frank Myers, Chuck Austin and Jo Jones.
The book itself has been handled and isn’t in perfect shape but it is what it is.
