Carved Bakelite Rose Pendant, ca. 1930s

Description

This lovely hand carved Bakelite pendant is beautifully detailed. The color is a deep caramel brown hue. It probably hung once on a celluloid chain. Alas, that chain is gone, but it has its original jump ring and is ready to wear on your own chain, or incorporate into your own jewelry creation. The pendant measures about 1" x 1".Condition is excellent with minimal surface wear to the back. The Bakelite tests positive with Simichrome.
