Unique Double Strand Chrome & Red Bakelite Necklace. I created this unique necklace for my Uniqlets line using vintage parts from my collections. I love the combination of chrome and Bakelite that was popular in the Art Deco era. I am always collecting bits and pieces that allow me to bring that aesthetic to the jewelry I create. The chrome pieces came from a machine age necklace and I found the large red, Simichrome tested beads many years ago and held onto them waiting for the right project. The bottom bead has a light spot shown in the last photo. The inner strand is about 18” long and the second strand hangs just below it. I make only one of each design so it will be yours alone.
